Consignment for parents

In my quest to connect with other mom's in the Seattle area, I have found the rabbit hole of online social networking. You click one link and you find something else that interests you.

Tonights find is the MamaSwap, consignment for parents. Looks like you can post on the website and local events are hosted. Looking forward to checking their next event out on Feb 17th, 10am at

Northwest Gardeners Grow a Sprout

With our addition to the gardening family, you'll see a shift in blogging. Of course, the new Sprout will be in the garden before we know it, be it on a blanket or with his hands in the dirt.

We knew we were cloth diaper fans, though a bit daunting at first to learn how, it is as easy as disposable, even more so with Baby Diaper Service coming by once a week to pick up the dirty ones. All the research shows that even with washing, cloth is much better for the environment than disposables.

Thinking about a road trip in the near future, we are now considering owning some cloth diapers, ones we could wash along the way in a laundromat. Thinking about FuzziBunz, but Mother of a Sale has indicated a couple mystery brands are on their way to the U.S. and is offering the chance to review them. Here's hoping we get a chance, and if we like them, we'll let you know.

It's a whole new world being parents.
